The Governorship candidate of the African Democractic Congress (ADC) Hon. Leke Abejide has met with the jama’atul Nasaru Islam, (JNI) under the leadership of Ambassador Usman Bello.

He had arrived in Lokoja, the Kogi State capital and held meetings with the Islamic body at the JNI state headquarters in Lokoja.
He was also accompanied by some notable petsonalities, which includes; Hon. Bamidele Suru, former Commissioner for Steels in Kogi; Hon. Musa Bakare, an elder statesman; Hon. Shola Adebola, his Chief of Staff amongst other stakeholders.
Leke said he will reintegrate both state and Local governments staffs that were unjustly retrenched.
He said he will also ensured that the issue of percentage salaries to both state and local government workers is abolished.
He also promised that the Islamic body will be accorded their rightful place in the state.
I will pay WAEC fees of all public school before election.
