GUBER: ADC Candidate, Abejide took ‘Rescue Mission’ Campaign to Kotonkarfe, Promise Women Grants for Trading

The African Democractic Congress ADC campaign council on Wednesday took their ‘Rescue Mission’ message to Kogi/Kotonkarfe local government area where they called for massive support for the November 11 Gubernatorial candidate, Leke Abejide.

The campaign council also met with stakeholders in the council area as well as the Ohimege Koto, HRM, Isah Koto.

The candidate of the party, Leke Abejide informed the stakeholders to be prepared towards the election, imploring them to work with all the leaders to ensure they delivered maximally for the party at the polls.

Abejide said he has keen interest in the Local Government and will grant autonomy to council areas, noting that his concern was how to reposition the council areas for effective service delivery.

Earlier, while paying homage at the palace of the Ohimege of Kotonkarfe, Alhaji Isah Koto, Leke Abejide said if elected, his government will place premium respect on the traditional institutions.

He recalled that he visited the traditional ruler earlier where he (Koto) prayed for his success, stressing that it was only wise to take similar steps before he goes for the open rally.

The Ohimege of Kotonkarfe, Alhaji Isah Koto applauded the ADC candidate for his incredible performance as the reps member of Yagba Federal Constituency, expecially the free education for students of the Constituency.

At the rally, Leke urged the women to form themselves into cooperative, said he will give each cooperative group, N5m each to embark on trading.

He also said he will extend his free education and Widows Scheme to the council area, promising to pay for their WAEC fees.
