The Leke Abejide Foundation has congratulated their Founder, Hon. Leke Abejide for the successful completion of his tenure as the reps member for Yagba Federal Constituency.

The Foundation in a congratulatory statement by his Director General, Hon. Shola Adebola described the federal Lawmaker as a promise keeper expecially in regards to the fulfilment of his electioneering campaign promises.

“For fulfilling all the pledges you made to respective communities in the federal constituency during the 2019 General elections, indeed you are a “Promise Keeper”.”

Adebola who said the projects and contributions of the Lawmaker to the socio-economic well-being of the Constituency were too numerous to mention, however said the lawmaker’s contribution to education and empowerment was an hallmarks of his tenure.

“Your annual payment of WAEC fees and other scholarship schemes for students of Yagbaland coupled with the Women and widows empowerment stood you out amongst your colleagues at the national Assembly.

“Today, many of the students who benefited from the free WAEC payments and other scholarship largesse have become graduate and bear testimonies to your good deeds.

“Scores of community dwellers at all the 33 wards in Yagba West, Yagba East and Mopamuro have a feasible projects to talk about you within your four years tenure.

“We at the foundation look back, peruse your electioneering campaign promises, and realised you have kept your words. We make bold to say you’re a promise keeper.”

Adebola who also described the Lawmaker as a diligent and very disciplined man, said more is still expected from him at the larger scene, as people of the state hope on his rescue mission in the November 11 Governorship election.
