The African Democratic Congress ADC Kogi state governorship candidate and second-term member representing Yagba East, Yagba West and Mopamuro Federal in the Federal House of Representatives Hon. Leke Joseph Abejide have supported the 2023 Ekinrin-Adde Day with Ten Million naira 10M.

Hon. Abejide announced his support for the community on Saturday at the Ekinrin-Adde as the Chairman of the Day where he was conferred as Bashorun of Ekinrin-Adde alongside his lovely wife Mrs. Esther Abejide as Yeye Bashorun of Ekinrin-Adde.

Hon. Leke Abejide said “This place is home for me, as my leader Hon. Abiodun James Faleke is from Ekinrin-Adde community.

“I want to thank the Olu-Adde of Ekinrin Adde, HRM, Olu Anthony Bamigbaye Idowu (Ahe Marowo1) ACA, CON, for finding me and my wife worth of this honorary chieftaincy title, now I am the Bashorun of Ekinrin-Adde, I won’t take it for granted”.

Hon. Leke advised the community to ensure that all promises to the community are redeemed as this is a political dry season for politicians and they are looking for water to quench their thirst.

“Ekinrin Adde is home for me so I have doubts, this is our leader’s home town Hon. James Faleke, so I can feel at home”.

Abejide stated that as the Chairman of the 2023 Ekinrin Adde Day, a recipient of the Honourary Chieftancy title and being the hometown of Hon. Faleke, he would support the program alongside his wife with a sum of Ten million naira 10M.
