The State Security Adviser to the Kogi State Government Commander Duro Jerry Omodara (Rtd.) has described the Kogi State University, Kabba, as the best Sallah’s gift from Governor Yahaya Bello to the Okun people.

Omodara stated this in a Sallah Message on Wednesday signed by his Personal Assistant, Hon. Arokoyo David, adding that the university will also address youth restiveness in the area and embolden security achievements of the state.

Omodara in the message said, “No doubt, this university will further boost the educational pursuit of the people of Okun land.
“It will also boost the socio-economic advancements and developments of the area.

“This is the best gift Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello has given the people of Okunland, it means God truly answered the prayers of Okun people.” Truly the coming of him (Gov Bello) is divine, Omodara remarks.

While celebrating with the Muslim faithfuls on the occasion of eld -fi-tril, he implored all to be security conscious and goings about the celebration in line of Allah.

The Security Expert prays this festive period will bring good tidings to the people of the state, he conclude.
