KOGI: ADC GUBER CANDIDATE, LEKE ABEJIDE PARLEYS WITH RETIRED PERMANENT SECRETARIES, COMMIT TO REGULAR PAYMENT OF PENSIONS

The Governorship candidate of the African Democractic Congress ADC for the November 11 Kogi governorship election, Hon. Leke Abejide has assured of his commitment to regular and prompt payment of salaries and pensions of serving and retired civil servants in the state.

Hon. Abejide who stated this during a meeting with the state chapter of the National Association of Retired Permanent Secretaries in Lokoja stressed that one of his cardinal points as a governor is to create better living conditions for civil servants, retirees, and the common people in the State.

Abejide who was represented at the occasion by his Chief of Staff, Hon. Shola Adebola urged the retired permanent secretaries to keep hope alive as the issue of non payment of pension and gratuities will be a thing of the past under his administration.

Some of the Retired Permanent Secretaries, congratulated the guber candidate for his reelection as member representing Yagba Federal Constituency, and pray that God will make him emerge victorious at the poll so that his visions and aspirations for the State will be met.

The retired Permanent Secretaries made recommendations to the Governorship candidate expecially as regards payment of pension and gratuities.

The Director General of the Campaign, Hon. Odoko, Dr. Femi Kinsman, Chief Musa Bakare and Hon. Lukman Usman were part of the entourage to the meeting.
