The member representing Yagba East, Yagba West, Mopamuro Federal Constituency, Kogi State felicitates with the Muslim faithful on the completion of this year’s Ramadan fast and celebration of Eid-el-Fitr.

He expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for the completion of this year’s Ramadan fast and celebrates with all the Muslim Ummah for their dedication towards keeping the month Holy, noting that the spiritual exercise and teachings had drawn them closer to Allah.

Abejide prayed that Almighty Allah would bless the efforts of the faith, worship and reward the endeavours of the Muslim faithful throughout the Holy month.

In a message of felicitation to the  Muslim communities in Yagba Federal Constituency and Kogi state at large, Hon. Abejide praised the spirit of sacrifice, resilience and peace by the Muslim community during the fasting period.

Hon. Leke Abejide urged Muslims to keep hope alive and to continue to promote love and peace through religious tolerance saying humans must accommodate development which can only surface in an atmosphere of peace, mutual tolerance and understanding there is no alternative to peace, he said.

While noting that Ramadan is a season of discipline and sacrifice, Abejide urged Muslims and adherents of other religions to live in love, peace, and harmony with one another as brothers and sisters. 

“The prayers of the faithful are needed more than ever for God’s guidance for leaders, great things can only come through God’s guidance, therefore, do not relent in prayers and religious harmony with others, irrespective of their beliefs”.

On the occasion of this year’s celebration, I congratulate all Muslim Ummah on the Eid-el-Fitr celebration and pray that Almighty Allah will accept our prayers and grant us peace.
