Kogi State Council of the Trade Union Congress, TUC, has felicitated with Muslim Ummah on the successful completion of fasting in the holy month of Ramadan.

It also Felicitates with them on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr marking the end of fasting and celebration for Almighty Allah’s grace and favour to be partakers of this year’s fasting.

State Chairman of the Congress, Comrade Sule Ahmed Tijani in a statement in Lokoja on behalf of the TUC urged the Muslim faithfuls to imbibe and continue in the lesson of sacrifice, love, giving and supplications to Almighty Allah for a greater State and Nation at large.

” I implore you all to imbibe and practise the virtues that entails kindness, love, tolerance, peace, good neighbourliness, compassion as exemplified by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon Him)”.

On the issue of workers welfare in an interactive session with the State Governor His Excellency Comrade Usman Ahmed Ododo on Friday promised to come to terms with workers welfare, he said the Organized Labour is working tirelessly in ensuring Government fronts with an assurance of a better deal for civil servants in the State.

The TUC Boss wishes all Muslim Ummah a happy Eid-el-Fitr celebration and prays that the peace, blessings, and favour of Allah be with everyone and Kogi State.
