All working journalists in kogi state, have through the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, nominated Alhaji Zakari Abubakar-Ola, for the union’s “NUJ Philanthropy Award” in recognition of his selfless service, Philanthrophy and people-driven leadership.

The NUJ has already sent the nomination letter to Alhaji Zakari.
the NUJ wrote that Alhaji Zakari Abubakar-Ola was selected by a panel of journalists, after thorough evaluation of leaders across Kogi state.

In the nomination letter, which was jointly signed by kogi chairman of the union, Comrade Adeiza Momohjimoh, secretary, Alhaji Seidu Ademu.

The NUJ described Alhaji Zakari Abubakar-Ola as a selfless leader whose major interest is making lives better for his people.

NUJ’s Vice-Chairman, Abubakar Suleman who handed over the letter dated 10th July, 2023, said the Council was proud to be associated with Alhaji Zakari Abubakar-Ola philanthropic gesture and selfless services.
