The Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Kingsley Femi Fanwo has congratulated the immediate past Ijumu Local Government Council Chairman and ALGON Chairman, Hon. Dr. Taufiq Isah on the occasion of his birthday, saying the Olukoko of Odokoro is an exceptional leader who has touched many lives across the state.

In a statement personally signed by the Commissioner, he said Hon. Isah was one of the early disciples of the Kogi State Governor, His Excellency Alh Yahaya Bello, commending him for his steadfastness and commitment to the New Direction Agenda.

“I got to know you during the struggle to liberate Kogi State under the leadership of our the Architect of Modern Kogi, His Excellency Alh Yahaya Bello. You were steadfast, committed and unwavering. Despite all the persecution, you stood your ground because you were convinced that with GYB, Kogi will be better.

“You have been vindicated after all as the Governor has set a standard that will be difficult to beat in developing our dear state. I am sure that one of the things that will make you fulfilled today is that the Governor has performed so well in office. You were one of the early foot soldiers who damned all consequences to throw your weight behind the Governor.

“As you celebrate your birthday today, I celebrate your sincerity of purpose, commitment, honesty and service to humanity. Your meaningful impact was felt across Okunland and beyond as you contributed greatly to security, infrastructure and the welfare of our people”.

Fanwo urged political leaders to emulate the”life of selflessness” that made Alh. Taufiq Isah “an exceptional political leader”, saying the Governor is immensely proud of the great grassroots mobilizer.
