The Honourable member representing Yagba Federal Constituency felicitates with the people of Yagba and Kogi State on this year’s Christmas celebration.

In his message, Hon. Leke Abejide greets the people of Yagba Federal Constituency particularly Christians on the joyous occasion of this year’s Christmas, which commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ.

“The eternal essence of Christmas is the good tidings that the Son of God came to dwell amongst us and that that singular act is worth commemorating because He has reconciled us to God forever.

Hon. Leke urged Christians to offer special prayer during the yuletide for greater peace, love, unity, peaceful co-existence, and progress in the state and the country.

“We are the recipients of God’s grace in the form of Jesus Christ, the reason for this season of comfort and joy. That is why I use this opportunity to urge all of us to reciprocate God’s love for us by loving each other and praying for the progress of our land.

“Christmas is the season to show love and care for one another, let us use the peculiarity of the season to offer a special prayer for Yagba and Kogi state as we enter the stretch of the electioneering period, let us tolerate one another irrespective of party and political affiliations.
I want to urge us all to show love to others and live peacefully.
