The Commissioner of Police, Kogi State Police Command, CP Bethrand C. Onuoha, psc (+), has assured the people of Kogi State of the Command’s unwavering commitment in ensuring the safety of lives and property. He disclosed this while addressing the Divisional Police Officer (DPO), and their Supervisory Area Commanders as well as Tactical Commanders to deploy adequate Security assets ahead of celebration to prevent any untoward situation in their respective Area of Responsibility (AOR) and to ensure peaceful and hitch-free celebration.

The CP directed the DPOs to implement crime prevention strategies adopted by the Command and carry out intensive crime prevention Patrols along the major highways, Residential and Vulnerable points, places of worship and other places of public intersection.

The CP while congratulating the Christians faithful in the State on the occasion the year 2024 Easter celebration, reiterates the Command’s unwavering commitment in synergy with other Security Agencies in ensuring the safety of lives and property of all and denying space for criminal elements to thrive in and around the State.

To this end, the CP urges the good people of Kogi State to be secured conscious throughout the period and beyond. He equally urged them to continue to collaborate with the Police and other Security Agencies and volunteer credible and timely information on the activities of criminal elements in the State.
