You’ll not regret re-electing me – Elder Leke assures Yagba electorates

Re-elected Member representing Yagba Federal Constituency in Kogi State, Hon. Leke Abejide, has reiterated his determination to meet the yearnings and aspirations of the people of his constituency.

Abejide who was the first ADC House of Representative member that won reelection on February 25 stated this on Wednesday on the sideline of receiving his Certificate of Returns at the ICC centre, Abuja.

Elder Leke thanked the people of Federal Constituency for supporting him.

He said “I Want to thank my people in Yagba land for coming out to vote for me

“One thing about politics is that you have to work for the people if you are elected and I believed that I worked for the people and that’s why they rewarded me back.

“I want to also assure my constituents that they will not regret their efforts as I will meet their expectations as I go back to the National Assembly because I will do better.

On how he felt about his re-election, he said “I felt happy that I won the election in Kogi state. I am more happy that this time around I will be going to the National Assembly with another ADC reps member. This shows that our efforts has robbed positively in Okunland and it has been rewarded by extension to another Federal Constituency. Indeed, we have move forward

“The ADC has become a Tsunami that took over Okunland and I believe we will get stronger as the days goes by.” he said

He expressed optimism on ADC getting victorious at the end of Saturday House of Assembly election, “ADC is a known party in Kogi state and I believe that we will come out stronger”.

He thereby advised electorates in Kogi state to come out and vote for ADC assuring “we will not disappoint our people, we will meet your expectations,” he said.
