The Elder Leke Abejide Foundation has congratulated its founder, Hon. Leke Abejide as he marks his 48th birthday.
A statement by the Director of the Foundation, Hon. Shola Adebola on Monday, praised Leke Abejide for his contributions to Yagba/Okun unity, stability, and socioeconomic progress as well as that of Nigeria as a whole.
He described Hon. Abejide as a detribalised and compassionate Nigerian whose core precepts are based on national cohesion, prosperity, development and tranquility.
It noted that through his Foundation, which aims to empower widows and develop young people (especially the free education scheme), the founder has been able to lit the way for many people to follow.
He said Abejide has brought integration and development to Yagba land, and he has repeatedly demonstrated his commitment to nation-building, wealth creation, youth development, and empowerment through his superlative representation at the floor of the national Assembly.
He also hailed the federal Lawmaker for his foresight of embarking on the mission of ‘Rescuing Kogi state, “It gives us joy that our Founder – the Alu-born political juggernaut and business magnate has garnered his political will and volunteered his services to serve the people of Kogi State just has he has delivered for the Yagba people.
“We at the Foundation must cordially praise Elder Leke Abejide for his leadership dexterity, sincerity of purpose, and above all, his involvement in the rescuing mission of Kogi State for which he has committed his God given talent, wisdom and resources.
“We commemorate his birthday and ask the Almighty God to strengthen, support, and bless him abundantly in good health so that he’d continue to serve God’s desire for humanity, Kogi and all of Nigerians.”
