We ascribe all honour to our maker who remains the giver of life and all that pertaineth to living.
I thank our most respected and supportive leader, the incoming Governor of Kogi State Elder Leke Abejide for all he has been doing for us as a people and individuals to see that light prevails over darkness. You are indeed a torch bearer.
I want to thank all our supporters who stood with us through thin and thick and still standing to see that justice is well served, I urge you all to remain calm and be law-abiding while we further exploit legal means in the pursuit of that which is right and due to us.
The tribunal judgement on our stolen mandate is a total miscarriage of justice; however, we are determined and resolute with the belief that the upper Court will interface with the evidence where major atrocious malpractices were carried out but not considered at the lower court for reasons best known to them.
You will all recall that the margin of winning that was doctored initially was One Hundred and Twelve (112) votes but now has been reduced to Seventeen (17) votes according to the tribunal verdict. This we shall seek for clearer interpretation at the upper Court especially on other grey areas presumably ignored by the same lower court.
The seventeen (17) votes winning margin declared by the tribunal is a testament to the “WILL” of the masses that they truly wanted us and not them but such WILL was truncated through violence which we are not known for and that is why justice must prevail at the end!
Once again, we urge you all to remain calm and be of good courage for the harvest of your stolen mandate is near.
