Media Professionals have been charged to be fair in thier reportage. The Minister in charge of First Baptist Church Lokoja, Reverend Theophilus Ajala gave the charge during the thanksgiving service in the Church to mark year 2023 Press Week by members of the Kogi State Council Of the Nigeria Union of Journalists in Lokoja. Reverend Ajala said there is need for journalists to be diligent and work towards a greater Nigeria for the betterment of all. He prayed for God’s continued protection and promotion on them all in the course of carrying out Thier official duties. Earlier in a remark, the State Chairman of the NUJ, Comrade Adeiza Momohjimoh represented by the State Treasurer, Comrade Aka Adebayo said the NUJ Press Week is an annually event observed by all working journalists in the State with lined up activities to commemorate the event. While thanking God for his protection on all journalists over the years, expressed appreciation to the Church leadership for the opportunity to mark the Union’s week thanksgiving. In a vote of thanks, Comrade Boluwaji Obahopo equally thanked the Church for granting the Union’s request at short notice. Highlights of the event was special thanksgiving by the journalists and prayers for safety in the course of performing thier constitutional duties
