Hon. Abubakar Suberu Adagu wishes to inform people that, after extensive consultations, he has decided to support the gubernatorial Candidate of African Democratic Congress in the November 11,2023 election in the State.

He said that his decision to throw his weight behind the ADC Gubernatorial candidate was because of how the state APC chapter is being run and the seeming selfishness of some party members who are only concerned with their personal interests.

He expressed that he is mindful of the fact that he carries on his shoulder a great responsibility for thousands of his supporters, political associates and friends, who have trusted in his leadership and have attached their political fortunes to him.

However, it is after an extensive consultation with all the important stakeholders that we have come to this difficult but inevitable decision to pitch our political tent with Gubernatorial candidate of African Democratic Congress (ADC) Elder Leke Abejide; where we could enjoy greater sense of belonging and the interests of the greatest number of our people would be best served.

He further stated that this is the task he is committing himself and he believes that it is in this ADC, that he will have the opportunity to play his part to bring a new government to better the lives of commoners in the state and It is his hope that the APC in the state will respect the choice that he has made as his democratic right, and understand that even though he will now occupy a different political space, he does not necessarily become enemies unto one another.
