KOGI GUBER: ADC HAILS MILITARY ONSLAUGHT AGAINST THUGS, CRIMINALS IN KOGI EAST, URGES THEM TO EXTEND TO CENTRAL, WESTERN DISTRICTS

The African Democractic Congress ADC has hailed the Armed Forces of Nigeria (AFN) for the onslaught against thugs and criminals in Kogi State as the state prepare for the Saturday governorship election.

The party in a statement by his Chief Spokesperson, Shola Adebola said the party received with great news that the superior firepower of the military is piling pressure on thugs and criminal elements in the Eastern flank of the state.

The ADC also urged the military to beem their searchlight on the Central and Western senatorial districts, stressing that the push for a crime and violent free election must be completed across all the zones.

Adebola in the statement commended the Chief of Defence Staff, General Chris Musa for his determination and unique approach in ensuring a violence free election, urging them not to listen to blackmailers who may want to twist the military efforts to push a negative narrative.

“The pressure by your men is yielding positive results. We urge you to sustain the tempo till after the election. This will make thugs and criminals to rethink and give peace a chance in the interest of the state.
