INSURANCE: KOGI POLICE COMMAND PRESENTS N15.9M CHEQUES TO 28 DECEASED OFFICERS FAMILIES

The Commissioner of Police Kogi State Police Command, CP Akeem A. Yusuf psc(+), fdc who was represented by the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Administration: DCP Abel A. Audu, presented cheques worth N15,994,711.28 on behalf of Inspector General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, psc (+), NEAPS, NPM, fdc, CFR to the families of 28 Police Officers who died in active service.

The gesture is part of the “Group Life Assurance Scheme” and IGP’s “Family welfare Insurance” aimed at improving the welfare of the families of the deceased Police Officers and also encouraging other Officers who are in active service.

DCP Audu during the presentation of Cheques to the next of kin of the deceased officers in Lokoja noted that the loss of the deceased personnel is tragic. He urged the beneficiaries not to misuse the money but make judicious use of the money for the betterment of their families.

The beneficiaries, appreciate the IGP for the gesture and promised to make use of the money for the benefit of their families.
