Kogi West Elder’s Forum say it is already closing up on a choice of a Gubernatorial Candidate from the zone for the 11th governorship election in the state.

The Forum stated this in a statement signed by Doctor Tunde Arosanyin for the Forum.

According to the statement, the Forum made up of men and women of proven integrity from the Western Senatorial District had been working since 2015 on power rotation to the Zone.

The statement stressed that the Forum constituted Committees made of people with track records from various field of endeavours to interface with critical stakeholders on the acceptability and choice of a Gubernatorial Candidate amongst those presently contesting from the Area.

While thanking the Committees for a thorough job, the Forum dissolved all to enable it arrived at a decision based on all recommendations worked upon.

The Forum urged all Gubernatorial Candidates from the Zone to display the Spirit of Sportsmanship and eschew all forms of bickering, as they are all qualified as a right for the number one seat in the State but that the onus rests on a Candidate to carry the mantle of leadership with appeal to East and Central Senatorial Districts to support the Western Senatorial District to achieve the lofty goal.
