Senator Smart Adeyemi has felicitated with  Christians across the globe particularly in Kogi West on the celebration of the 2023 Easter session that commemorate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, said it signified everlasting hope and freedom for the believers. 

Senator Adeyemi made this known in his Easter statement.

Adeyemi said the season afford all believers to live a life of sacrifice like Our Lord Jesus Christ who sacrificed himself for the survival of the entire world, noted that as Christians the season should be used to return to God and pray for the country.

The senator said this year’s celebration is unique in the sense that it is a transition period for the nation that requires every citizen to play their parts of contributing to the peace and development of Nigeria.

He called on all Kogites irrespective of their faith to continue to pray for the leadership in the country and that of Kogi State.
