His Excellency, the Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Chief (Dr) Edward Onoja has expressed sadness over the demise of the member representing Yagba East Constituency in the State House of Assembly, Late Hon Jimoh Musa Omiata.

In a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Promise Emmanuel, Chief Onoja noted the immense contributions, ideas, and uncommon roles of the Late Lawmaker saying he was selfless and committed to addressing the challenges of his constituents both within and outside the Chambers of the House of Assembly.

Whilst commiserating with the immediate family of the deceased, the Deputy Governor also extended his heartfelt sympathy to the Speaker and Members of the Kogi State House of Assembly over the sad incident.

Chief Onoja prayed God to grant the deceased Lawmaker eternal rest whilst granting those he has left behind the fortitude to bear the loss.
